Earlier this week I was at a wonderful Women's Referral Network (WRN) luncheon. The keynote speaker was Lynn Doyle, host and Executive Producer of "It's Your Call with Lynn Doyle". As she shared highlights from her career she mentioned that she, like most women, has had to reinvent herself over the years as circumstances changed.
It was then that I realized, maybe I'm being too hard on myself about my dabbling. As circumstances for me change (even if it's just becoming bored with a subject), I evolve, I re-evaluate, I reinvent. Because of this, I continue to grow and hopefully improve on myself and my life. Being a "re-inventor" sounds so much better than a "dabbler" don't ya think?!

Reinventing does sound better.....if the "reinventing" is sincere.

Cheryl, try not to be hard on yourself. I'm guilty of it, too, and I use one of my morning readings to help me get back on track...."May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others." There. Your dabbling - or re-inventing - or evolution - is you trying out all of the infinite possibilities!
