This afternoon at 1:30 on this summer day in Maine, I entered by 8th decade of life. As a gift for my 70th birthday, my daughter Cheryl and SIL set up Liz Logic, a blog I had wanted for such a long time. As a child of WWII and a teen of the 50's, I find the science of reason in low supply in the world at hand. I shake my head so many times at the illogical situations in the media, that I don't know why I have not worked off the waddle that is developing under my chin. Now I have a place to vent and will not fear of doing so as I am at a place in life where other opinions of my opinions are not dreaded but welcomed. So bring on the silliness such as a kindergarten boy reaching out and hugging his teacher who in turn wanted him suspended for sexual harrassment. Good grief lady - you need a good dose of Liz Logic. When I taught kindergarten I did my best to provide comfort to the children be it with a smile, hand to hold and yes even a hug if they reached out in need. It was only logical.
